Two Days Of Seed Workshops In Montreal This November!

You know how it’s kind of hectic on your farm right now? Racing against the rain and frost to bring in great crops?

Well, there is only about a month of that, and then we get to catch our breath.

And what better way to do that than to meet up with a bunch of seedy folks in Montreal on November 15 and 16 for the Eastern Canadian Organic Seed Grower’s Network fall meeting.

I’m part of a panel on day 1 called Growing the Organic Seed Sector in Eastern Canada

There is also a visit to Tourne-Sol to visit our seed operation.

It will be great!

Hope to you there.

  1. I am interested in learning how to start my own small seed company, particularly for cut flower seeds, in central New Brunswick. I am wondering if this conference would be helpful for gaining information on how to get started.

    1. If you’re thinking about starting a seed company, this would be a great conference.

In the Friday afternoon panel we will discuss the economics and potentials for seeds across Eastern Canada.

The germination testing and quality control session on Saturday morning will be invaluable. This is a vital skill for seedspeople to have.

This is without the networking with other seed growers and seed companies from across Eastern Canada.

      Hope to see you there!
      Dan
