Well, if you’re a commercial cut flowers considering #seedsavingformarketgrowers, you should probably think a bit deeper about isolation distance.
Do you want your variety to be true to type?
Grow varieties of the same species separated by 600’ to 1000’
If you can’t do that, then don’t save that variety.
But you REALLY REALLY want to save that variety.
Then save it, but only grow a limited amount of next year’s crop from your own seed. Rely on your usual source for most of the seed.
If you like the results from your seed, use more of your seed the following year!
