How much seed do you need?
Here we have 4 beds of green onions directly seeded in the ground.
Each bed is about 75ft long with 5 rows per bed and 50 seeds per rowfoot.
So 4 x 75 x 5 x 50 = 75000 seeds.
That should give us enough green onions for 6 weeks of CSA baskets.
It’s always fun to have a spreadsheet around to do the math!
