Brassicas in bloom are one of my favourite smells of all.
Especially when they are the only flowers in full bloom at the farm on a cold April day.
These Chinese cabbage overwintered in a greenhouse and could be harvested for seed by June 1.
Brassica rapa seed matures about a month after the flowers open.
