Are you harvesting fast enough?
To figure that out you need to compare your Harvest Targets and your Harvest Rates.
So this spreadsheet does just that!
Start off by entering your harvest targets and the spreadsheet will set your harvest thresholds.
Next fill out the harvest log (just like in Spreadsheet Tip #65) and then the sheet will tell you how your crops compare to your harvest target.

Please remember that these are just numbers.
These numbers do tell a story about whether your harvest rates meet harvest targets you set but that’s about it.
It’s up to you to decide how you use these numbers.
For example, if you have many crops that are 2 to 3 times your harvest target then you can afford to have crops that are 0.5 to 0.7 times your harvest target.
Also, if you are able to reduce other farm work to increase harvest time, your harvest targets can probably be lower.
And, harvest efficiency isn’t all about speed – it’s mostly about techniques and systems. Thinking about how you harvest will likely improve your harvest.

It’s going to cover
- The difference between efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
- How to set harvest targets that meet your profit goals
- How to measure your harvest efficiency
- 7 ways that you can harvest faster
- What crops are likely to be profitable to harvest and what crops are not
